Sleepwell Foundation conducted a workshop on Emotional Wellness & Emotional-first Aid for the doctors of Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital on
22nd February, 2024.

60 doctors participated in the workshop.

The objective of the workshop was to create awareness about emotional wellbeing and self-care among doctors, who regularly confront patients’ emotional issues including trauma that negatively affect their wellness.

The workshop was highly informative and engaging, equipping the participants with practical tools to navigate their day-to-day hospital lives.

The workshop was a big success as the doctors were very appreciative about the outcome of the learning from it. They provided very positive feedback and expressed desire to have more workshops, acknowledging the significant benefits gained from this workshop.

Sleepwell Foundation conducted a workshop on Perception and Communication for the paramedics of Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital on
13th March, 2024.

70 paramedics participated in the workshop.

The objective of the workshop was to enhance communication skills emphasizing the crucial connection between perception and communication. The workshop highlighted the importance of forming accurate perceptions to achieve perfect communication. Recognizing that good communication skills are essential for care giving and professional development, the workshop aimed to equip the paramedics with this vital skill.

The participants demonstrated active engagement throughout the workshop which made the learning experience enjoyable and informative. Using role-play and emphasizing verbal and non-verbal communication, the workshop added an engaging dimension to the learning.

The workshop was a big success as it provided opportunities to the paramedics to hone one of the most fundamental and valuable skills needed for all aspects of growth. The participants provided valuable and positive feedback which highlighted that the workshop achieved its goal, benefiting them immensely.
