The session aimed to raise awareness about bullying, its harmful effects, and the importance of fostering a safe school environment.

The workshop included engaging activities like the Crumpled Paper Exercise, where students experienced the lasting impact of hurtful words. Trainers also explained the four types of bullying—verbal, physical, cyber, and social—and used videos to illustrate empathy and collective responsibility. Students actively participated in role-plays, practicing how to intervene in bullying situations with compassion and confidence.

The workshop was highly successful, and by the end of the session, students had a deeper understanding of the psychological impact of bullying. They also learned strategies to build resilience, foster kindness, and contribute to creating a positive and supportive school environment.

Sleepwell Foundation conducted a workshop on Good Touch, Bad Touch at Atal Adarsh Vidyalaya, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi, on 16th September for 120 Students of Classes 4 and 5. The session aimed to raise awareness about personal safety and empower children with knowledge to protect themselves. It began with a fun ice-breaking activity, “Simon Says,” helping students feel relaxed and engaged.

Trainers explained the concepts of good and bad touch using simple language and relatable examples. A short video illustrating a young girl’s experience helped students connect visually with the topic. Children also learned the child helpline number – 1098 – as a vital resource for help.

A picture-based activity followed, where students identified types of touch, reinforcing their understanding. Most responded confidently, showing a strong grasp of the topic.

The workshop concluded with a joyful Boogie Woogie dance, leaving students informed and upbeat. Overall, it was an engaging, age-appropriate session that promoted safety, confidence, and trust.
