The Sleepwell Foundation conducted an interactive workshop on Emotional Wellness and Self-Care titled “Pause, Breathe and Heal” on 9th January, 2026 for 76 NCC cadets of Deshbandhu College, New Delhi. Organised in collaboration with the NCC Air Wing and executed as per NCC protocols, the session maintained discipline, structure, and ceremonial decorum throughout. The workshop was graced by Ft. Lt. Dr. Kumar Shantanu and Flying Officer Deepti Goel, whose presence reinforced the importance of emotional strength within disciplined services.

The session focused on building emotional awareness, challenging myths around feelings, and introducing practical self-care tools for academic and personal stress. Through reflection activities, audio-visual aids, and discussions on emotional avoidance patterns, cadets explored healthy emotional expression. A guided Box Breathing exercise provided a simple technique to calm the nervous system and improve focus.

Engaging and experiential in nature, the workshop received thoughtful feedback and strong participation, leaving cadets better equipped to pause, reflect, and respond with resilience.
