Date - 25 February 2026

Session - Emotional Wellness & First Aid Workshop
Trainer - Ms. Parveen Gautam & Ms. Pratima Virwani
Students - 205

With a focus on building emotional awareness among youth, Sleepwell Foundation organized an Emotional Wellness Workshop at GNIBM College, Greater Noida, on 25 February 2026.

Held in a classroom setting, the session brought together 205 undergraduate students and was designed as an interactive and experiential learning module rather than a conventional lecture. The workshop began with an engaging ice-breaking activity that encouraged students to reflect on their own emotions and experiences, creating a comfortable space for open discussion.

A short video highlighting the difference between physical and emotional hurt helped students understand how emotions influence behaviour and decision-making. Using tools such as the Feelings Chart, participants explored different emotions and discussed the concept of emotional wellness. The session further introduced the three key pillars of emotional well-being—physical, emotional, and behavioural—and emphasized healthy ways of coping with stress and challenges. Practical strategies for self-care and emotional balance were shared, and the workshop concluded with a Box Breathing exercise and a reflective activity where students noted their key learnings from the session.

Session - Effective Communication & Interview Skills Workshop
Trainer - Ms. Parveen Gautam & Ms. Pratima Virwani
Students - 65

Sleepwell Foundation conducted a workshop on Effective Communication & Interview Skills at GNIBM – The Greater Noida Institute of Business Management, Greater Noida, on 18 November 2025, with 65 Students participating. The session highlighted how both verbal and non-verbal expressions shape relationships, confidence, and professional success, especially during interviews and business interactions. Real-life college scenarios, classroom examples, and role plays helped students understand the direct impact of effective communication on daily life.

A silent activity using only gestures served as an engaging ice-breaker, showcasing how meaning is often conveyed without words—and how misunderstandings arise from delivery and perception. Interactive activities such as “May I come in?” and “Hello students, I’m your new teacher…” led to discussions on assertive, aggressive, and submissive communication styles.

Students also learned about body language, non-verbal cues, and active listening—key skills for interviews and workplace readiness. The workshop emphasized that communication is not just about speaking but listening, observing, and being intentional, helping students grow into empathetic and confident communicators.
