EMOTIONAL WELLNESS WORKSHOPS

The Sleepwell Foundation organized a 10-session Online Emotional Wellness Workshop Series for students of GIET University, Odisha, conducted every Wednesday from 16th January to 25th March 2026 in an online mode. The program engaged approximately 455 participants and was delivered in English and Hindi by a team of experienced trainers including Ms. Vickie Rai, Ms. Neelam Agarwal, Ms. Veena Aggarwal, Ms. Parmeet Kaur Manchanda, Ms. Suminder Kaur, and Mr. Sachin Chidambaran. The series aimed to build emotional awareness, resilience, and practical coping skills among students to help them navigate academic and personal challenges effectively. Across ten structured sessions, key themes such as Emotional Wellness & First Aid, Perception and Gender Sensitization, Effective Communication, Relationships, Domestic Violence awareness, Stress and Anger Management, Coping with Depression, Understanding Addiction, Change Management, and Prevention of Suicide were covered through interactive discussions, activities, role plays, and real-life examples. The sessions encouraged active participation and reflection, helping students understand emotional health, improve interpersonal skills, and develop empathy and self-regulation. The program concluded successfully with positive feedback from participants, highlighting its impact in enhancing emotional understanding, mental well-being, and life skills among students.
