The session was facilitated by Ms. Parveen Gautam and Ms. Pratima Virwani, with the participation of 25+ ladies. The workshop aimed to strengthen relationships by promoting healthy communication, trust, respect, understanding, flexibility, acceptance, responsibility and kindness, while also addressing common relationship myths and practical challenges.

The workshop was conducted predominantly in Hindi using an experiential and participatory approach, including discussions, role-plays, True/False activities, reflection exercises and real-life situations. The participants displayed high enthusiasm and active involvement, readily sharing their views and experiences. Concepts such as the relationship as a communication bridge, the emotional “joint bank account,” and the “I–You–We” balance generated meaningful interaction. Special emphasis was placed on relationships where partners experience physical separation due to duty, highlighting the importance of maintaining emotional connection through meaningful communication, appreciation, empathy and realistic expectations. Participants were also provided with simple, practical Hindi handouts, including the “Seven Essentials of Healthy Relationships,” for continued use after the workshop. The session concluded with a vote of thanks and group photographs.
